Eastland County does not let the county know when elections take place. We live in Rising Star and subscribe to the Rising Star New Paper and nothing was published about a runnoff election or anything else pretaing to elections. Please see if you can correct this . We have made phone calls in the past but we are what they call little folk, so I guess our 2 votes don’t count. We not informed about elections in Eastland County….HELP

Whoops! I don’t see Anderson county listed. I just returned from voting. FYI. Palestine voters can vote at the Anderson county annex!

    Mr. & Mrs. Patrick,

Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

    Mr. Malone,

I just got off the phone with the Eastland County Clerk’s office, and there are five voting locations in your county:

    1. Eastland
voting will take place at the courthouse

    2. Ranger (pcts. 2, 3, 4, 9)
    Ranger Community Center
    718 Pine St.

    3. Gorman (pcts. 5 & 6)
    Gorman Senior Citizen Center
    118 South Kent St.

    4. Rising Star
    Higginbotham Center
    108 N. Main

    5. Cisco
    First Baptist Church Life Center
    800 Avene E.

If you need further information, I believe the Secretary of State’s website can give you more info, or feel free to contact me at hannah@rickgreen.com and I’ll be glad to help you figure it out. Thanks so much!
