Spread the Word

A campaign needs 3 things to be successful:

  • God’s blessing
  • Volunteers
  • Money

We believe we have God’s blessing.  If you will help us raise money by being a volunteer, we’ll have all 3 of these covered. :-)  Forward this page on to family and friends to let them know about our money bomb.

Support Rick

Our goal for this Money Bomb is to raise $100,000.  Any amount that you are able to give will be a tremendous help, whether it’s $5, $25, $250, or more.

“THSC PAC and I are thrilled to support Rick Green for Texas Supreme Court. Not only is he a long-time friend, I know he strongly believes that judges should interpret the law instead of “legislating from the bench.”

Perhaps most importantly he strongly believes that a parent’s right to direct the education and upbringing of their children is a fundamental right protected under the Constitution as articulated most recently by the US Supreme Court in the 2000 Troxel decision.”

    Remembering Martin Luther King, Jr.

    By Rick Green

    Register Your Friends to Vote

We’re looking at the home stretch now in this Supreme Court race, which means….it’s time for you to think about voter registration! If you have not registered to vote, you have until February 1st to register. Get your family members and friends to register as well, and while you’re at it, be sure to tell them about our candidacy!

Also, you will need to make sure your voting address is up-to-date. If you have moved within the county, you can update your address online here. However, if you have moved to a different county, you will need to re-register.

    Walking in MLK’s footsteps

Under the leadership of Martin Luther King, Jr., Christians were roused from lethargic slumber to protest the violation of one of our inalienable rights – that “all men are created equal.” Birmingham, Alabama, became the front lines of battle in the struggle. King was sent to jail and wrote one of the most profound letters in American history. Here is an excerpt I would like to share with you.

“I was initially disappointed at being categorized as an extremist, as I continued to think about the matter I gradually gained a measure of satisfaction from the label. Was not Jesus an extremist for love: “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”

Was not Amos an extremist for justice: “Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever flowing stream.” Was not Paul an extremist for the Christian gospel: “I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.” Was not Martin Luther an extremist: “Here I stand; I cannot do otherwise, so help me God.” And John Bunyan: “I will stay in jail to the end of my days before I make a butchery of my conscience.” And Abraham Lincoln: “This nation cannot survive half slave and half free.”

And Thomas Jefferson: “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal . . .” So the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be. Will we be extremists for hate or for love? Will we be extremists for the preservation of injustice or for the extension of justice?

In that dramatic scene on Calvary’s hill three men were crucified. We must never forget that all three were crucified for the same crime–the crime of extremism. Two were extremists for immorality, and thus fell below their environment. The other, Jesus Christ, was an extremist for love, truth and goodness, and thereby rose above his environment. Perhaps the South, the nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists.”

Today, we face another civil rights crisis. This time it is the inalienable right of all men – including the unborn – to life, that is under assault. As Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr., so eloquently stated, “How can the dream live as long as we kill our children?” Bound4Life is holding a prayer vigil and march on Martin Luther King day. You can find out more information at bound4life.com.

In addition, the Texas Rally for Life will be held at the Capitol building in Austin on January 23. It is vital that we show our legislators that the people of Texas still believe in the principles of the Declaration of Independence. Please join us on the Capitol steps on January 23.

Thank you for your support. I hope to see you soon.

    For freedom,
    Rick

Rick Green Campaign Kickoff November 16

    By Rick Green

    YouTube Preview Image

    Dear Friends and Fellow Texans,

    It’s time.

It’s time for all of us with traditional Texas values to step up and lead…in our homes, our businesses, our communities, our state, and our nation.

As much as I would love to just coach my boys in baseball and focus all my energy on my own family, this is no longer a time to just enjoy the Blessings of freedom…it is also a time to bear the burden and earn that freedom.

Some Americans earn freedom by putting on a uniform here at home or abroad and putting their life on the line. Others do it by sacrificing time and money to support those around them. For nearly a decade, Kara and the kids and I have been doing it by traveling the nation educating and equipping our fellow Americans to participate in this great Constitutional Republic.

But now it’s time for the Green Family to do more…and we’re asking you to join us once again in an effort to preserve the principles that made America the most successful nation in the world!

Over the last decade, courts have increasingly become the front lines of the struggle in our culture over our basic freedoms and what it means to be an American. Too many justices choose to legislate from the bench rather than uphold the rule of law.

For these reasons, I am running for the Texas Supreme Court, Place 3.

I would like to serve you and our fellow Texans as a Justice that understands the proper role of the courts in our system of freedom…and I need your help to make that possible.

Our campaign kickoff will be November 16th at Old Town in Kyle, Texas. With music from the Kyle Family and the best catfish in Texas from Manchaca Fire Hall, we’re going to kick off a grassroots campaign of fired up citizens like Texas has never seen before! Please consider sponsoring the kickoff and bringing along your family and friends for a special night to remember.

If you are unavailable for the kickoff, but would like to be a sponsor of the event or make a contribution in lieu of attendance, please visit our contribution page.

There is much to do in a very short campaign, so please consider helping with gathering signatures for our required petition, or making calls through our online system, or helping us get the word out at your local republican gatherings.

Thanks so much for your support! May God Bless you and your family, and may He continue to Bless the Great State of Texas!
